Ultraviolet Technologies, LLC ("ParPath," "we," "our," or "us") operates the ParPath mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please also review our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
Full name (from Apple Sign In, optional)
Email address (from Apple Sign In, optional)
Apple ID (anonymized identifier provided by Apple)
Golf Data
Round scores, statistics, and history
Handicap calculations
Break X goals and performance
Shot tracking data (club, distance, result)

Location Data
Continuous GPS tracking during active rounds: When you start a round, the App collects your GPS coordinates approximately every 5 seconds, including when the App is in the background. This data is used for shot tracking, distance calculations, and pace of play analysis. A blue status bar indicator is displayed while background location is active. Location collection stops when the round ends.
One-time location for nearby course search
Contacts (Optional)
Phone number hashes for friend discovery. No raw phone numbers are stored on our servers.
Camera (Optional)
Camera access is used for scanning QR invite codes to add friends. No photos are stored.
Device Information
Device model and name
iOS/watchOS version
App version
A randomly generated analytics identifier (not a hardware or persistent device ID; resets on app uninstall)
Push notification tokens (APNs device tokens and Live Activity push tokens, sent to our servers for delivering notifications)
Purchase Information
Subscription status (active, expired, trial). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple via In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment method or billing details.
Session Replay and Interaction Data
We use Mixpanel Session Replay to record visual recordings of your interactions with the App. This means screen activity (taps, scrolls, navigation) is captured during your sessions. Sensitive fields (such as text inputs) may be automatically masked. Session replay data is sent to Mixpanel for analysis and is subject to Mixpanel's retention policies.
We also use Sentry to track user interactions (taps, navigation) for performance monitoring purposes.
Crash Reports
When the App crashes, a report is sent to Sentry that may include a screenshot of the App at the time of the crash, the UI view hierarchy, and device state. Crash reports are associated with your user identity (user ID, email, and display name) so we can diagnose issues affecting specific users.
Apple Watch
If you use the ParPath watchOS companion app, round data, hole maps, and scores are shared between your iPhone and Apple Watch via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.

4. Tracking
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) or participate in ad networks. The App does not display advertisements.
Website Cookies & Advertising (parpath.com)
Our marketing website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: analytics (Umami, Microsoft Clarity, and Statsig, which help us understand how the site is used and may record anonymized session interactions) and advertising (the Meta/Facebook Pixel, which we use to show you ParPath ads on Meta platforms and other sites, and to measure those ads). This is separate from the App, which does not advertise or use the Pixel.
When you first visit the website we show a cookie banner. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies load only after you opt in. In the United States and elsewhere, you can opt out at any time. Strictly necessary cookies always load. Under some U.S. state privacy laws (for example, the CPRA), using the advertising Pixel may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; the cookie banner serves as your opt-out mechanism.
You can review or change your website cookie choices at any time:
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information:
With other users: When you add friends in the App, they can see your name, round scores, statistics, handicap index, and round activity. This information is only visible to users you have accepted as friends. It is not publicly visible.
With service providers: We share data with the third-party services listed above to operate and improve our App
For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request
6. International Data Transfers
Your data is processed and stored in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. For users in the European Economic Area, transfers are made in accordance with applicable legal mechanisms (see Section 10).
